HSSEQ Coordinator

We are looking for a dedicated HSSEQ Coordinator who is keen to use and develop your own competence and contribute to further improvement of the HSSEQ standards in the Company.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

You will assist vessels and office staff in HSSEQ-related matters, through active follow-up and support to the development of the Company´s management systems. As a part of this responsibility, you will contribute to- and engage your colleagues to good report handling through monitoring, analysis and useful feedback.

Furthermore, you will take the lead of preparing statistics, and suggest improvement initiatives throughout the Company. You will take an important role in facilitating and accomplishing of risk assessments and incident investigations.

You will contribute to the planning, preparation, conducting and follow-up of internal and external audits, both on-board vessels and at the Office. HSSEQ training will also be a part of the role.

Personal abilities:

You will cooperate closely with office staff, vessel crew and management. Thus, this position will demand very good interpersonal skills. You have a genuine ability to create positive and long-term relationship with colleagues at sea and shore.

You have a drive and passion for continuous improvement and thrive with assisting your colleagues to achieve common HSSEQ goals for the Company. Being structured, curious, analytic, supportive and active involvement are personal characteristics we appreciate.

Education and background:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree within HSE and/or Quality is desirable, or other relevant education. 3+ years of experience from similar positions, preferably within the maritime or oil & gas industry is required.
